Higher education institutions to integrate Infor SunSystems software into curriculum as part of Infor Education Partner Program
Bangkok – December 19, 2016 – Infor, a leading provider of industry-specific and cloud-enabled business applications, today announced its collaboration with Dhurakij Pundit University through the Education Alliance Program (EAP), an initiative aimed at helping educational institutions develop the technology skills of their students. This is the first collaboration with an Infor institution in ASEAN. Approximately 100 undergraduate students will participate in the EAP program, which will officially begin in January 2017.
Launched globally in 2014, Infor’s EAP program provides partner educational institutions with free access to innovative technologies and learning platforms, while also providing students with real-world experiences that help them build skills and competencies for entry into the workforce. In 2016, the program trained more than 1,500 students and has expanded across the region to include leading universities in China, South Korea and India. The EAP offers training in Infor’s CloudSuite™ solutions running on Amazon Web Services®, access to Infor’s Centers of Excellence, industry-leading software certifications, Infor internship opportunities and access to the Skills Marketplace, designed to help students gain access to broader career and partnership opportunities across the technology industry.
Students in Dhurakij Pundit University’s programs will be able to use Infor SunSystems software, which includes Infor SunSystems Financials and Infor BI Q&A. Infor SunSystems Financial is an integrated solution that combines flexible transactional workflows with real-time analytics and extensive reporting, while Infor BI Q&A is the industry’s best-in-class visualization cloud solution that translates data into actionable insights. The collaboration with Dhurakij Pundit University also marks Infor’s first SaaS cloud offering in Asia Pacific.
